Our cups start with a basic design.

We then use a variety of techniques to make the perfect design for you.

  • Tumblers made with alcohol inks are unique, one of a kind designs. Ink colors can blend to make new colors, they can be dropped into epoxy and the epoxy will move the inks. The design possibilities are endless.

  • A tumbler created with glitter brings sparkle to the project. Glitters come in many colors and cuts. Some are holographic, some are matte finish, some add incredible sparkle, and some are even glow in the dark.

Mica powders are similar to glitter in that they add color to a project with a softer, milky type of effect.

  • To add character to a design, we can add a peek a boo effect. We put down a base of either paint, glitter, inks. We then add a design with vinyl. Step three is to add the ‘top coat’. This can again be paint, inks, or glitter. When the vinyl design is removed, the base finish appears where the design is.

  • The application of foil on tumblers is new and gaining popularity. The addition of foil and glitter to a base tumbler adds dimension in an abstract design. Foil can also be used in a specific pattern (hearts, stars, dog prints).

  • Another technique that is popular is using Dawn Powerwash. A base is applied and then power wash is sprayed on the tumbler. As the bubbles pop, a design will appear. The Powerwash is then covered in spray paint and immediately rinsed. The end result is a random, unique, abstract design where the base shows through where the Powerwash was applied.

  • A Milkyway design is a customer favorite. The base is usually a mix of several different coordinating glitters applied in a swirl pattern. Once the glitters are coated in epoxy, mica powders, glitter, and inks are added along the swirl lines. These are manipulated with heat to give the effect of clouds and softens the glitter swirl.

  • The technique of hydro dip isn’t new. My son used it to custom design the stock on his gun. We use inks to create a pattern on the surface of water. The designs are unique on each tumbler. The tumbler is inserted into the water and the inks adhere to the surface. This is often used as a base for additional layers of a design.

  • We create custom tumblers with rhinetone accesnts, or full rhinestones. We create gift items and pens with incredibly sparkly stones!

  • Adding vinyl designs to a glitter base gives the opportunity to create one of a kind designs. We work closely with our customers to bring their design ideas to life.
